e-Notes Vol. 3 No. 8 SofT

Hi, again,

This just in from Russ Kraay, Registrar for the Computer College, about the disappearance of SofT (School of Technology):

WHAT HAPPENED TO SofT?

If you have been looking for SofT (School of Technology) you know that it isn’t in the online brochure.  Here’s the reason.  SofT was conceived and instituted by CCSC in the Summer 2009 term as a category of the Computer College.  As you have experienced, technology is changing at lightning speed and the name no longer really fits.  So SofT has been renamed and is now Technology Today.  This means each term there will be new classes to introduce you to the latest in technology.  CCSC felt this rapidly changing technology could better be a part of the Academy.  So you will find some of the popular classes from previous terms plus some new ones in the Academy brochure.  Unfortunately, this will not be available to you until the brochure is distributed to the residents on August 11th.  Until then you can continue to study the online Computer College brochure atwww.spccsc.net.  You can register online for the classes you wish to take at registration.spccsc.netany time until the start of classes.

Don’t forget to come to the Computer College Roundup on Saturday, August 7 at 10:00 A.M. in the Grand Cypress Room.  We will be there to answer questions and help.

Registrar
