The hands on part of the course will include the following:

·         Create a Quicken file

·         Create a dummy checking Account

·         Enter Transactions

·         Categorize transactions (Use existing or create new ones)

·         Print checks

·         Create reports

·         Reconcile accounts

·         Creating a budget

·         Password protect your Quicken file

·         Save a backup when you close your Quicken file

The demonstration part of the course will include the following:

·         Activate accounts online

·         Download transactions

·         Manage Passwords for your online accounts


Students should have basic computer skills, be familiar with drop down menus, and know how to use left and right mouse clicking.
